Join Inwood Canoe Club and Friends of Inwood Hill Park for a morning of trash pickup along the Hudson River shoreline.  Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and clothing they can get dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, work gloves, sunscreen, and your own reusable water bottle. ICC will provide grabbers, some work gloves, and hand sanitizer. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with appropriate adult supervision. Meeting place: Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman Street, NYC (down the path and south of The Hudson Restaurant). UPDATE: Shorewalkers is partnering with Inwood Canoe Club and Friends of Inwood Hill Park for this clean up event. Come for the cleanup and stay for the walk! We collect trash along the Greenway path for the first half, followed by a walk down the bike path and back (approximately 2 miles). We'll also discuss the area north of the GW Bridge which is the last gap in the Greenway on the west side of Manhattan. Learn more about ICC, FIHP and Shorewalkers! Join Friends of Inwood Hill Park & the Inwood Canoe Club for a cleanup of the Dyckman Street Cove and surrounding areas on Saturday, June 24th from 10:30am - 1pm. Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and clothing that they can get dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, your own reusable water bottle, and a face mask. ICC will provide some work gloves, hand sanitizer, and grabbers. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with appropriate adult supervision. Meeting place: Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman Street, NYC (down the path and south of The Hudson Restaurant).  Directions: Take the A train to Dyckman Street, and walk west on Dyckman Street to the Hudson River, then South along the river edge to the entrance of the Inwood Canoe Club (established in 1902!)
