Join Inwood Canoe Club and Friends of Inwood Hill Park for a cleanup of the Hudson River shoreline on Saturday, October 28th from 10:45am - 12:00pm.
Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and clothing they can get dirty. We recommend bringing a hat, work gloves, sunscreen, and your own reusable water bottle. ICC will provide grabbers, some work gloves, and hand sanitizer. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with appropriate adult supervision.
Meeting place: Inwood Canoe Club, 360 Dyckman Street, NYC (down the path and south of The Hudson Restaurant).
After you register, you can stay in touch with us at inwoodcanoe.openhouse@gmail.com. Be sure to complete your 2023 season waiver before you arrive at the boathouse.
*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, leaders, park staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:
Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 within the previous week.
